クジラの raw: Chakuro, the 14-year-old archivist of the Mud Whale, lives on a nigh-utopian island that floats across an endless sea of sand. The inhabitants of the Mud Whale possess thymia, special powers that come with a curse of early death. While exploring other islands, Chakuro encounters a girl who will alter the course of his life. This girl, from an island as large as the Mud Whale, is unlike anyone he has ever met before. Their meeting will change Chakuro's destiny forever.
